Pet radiology uses X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound to visualize the internal structure of animals in order to diagnose disease or injury.

Pets play an important role in the lives of their owners, and pet owners want to ensure that their pets are healthy and receiving the best possible care. Pet radiology offers pet owners a way to obtain high-quality images of their pet’s internal organs and structures. Pet radiology is a valuable tool for diagnosis that is non-invasive, safe, and typically well-tolerated by pets. Additionally, Skyline Animal Hospital‘s pet radiology can be used to detect problems that may not be apparent on physical examination alone.

Examples include:

    • Radiographs (X Rays) 2D images of the body
    • Ultrasound 3D images of the body

Skyline Animal Hospital provides in-house digital radiography (x ray) which is over-read by a board certified veterinary radiologist.  We also provide ultrasound by appointment only.
